Get shiny & healthy hair with olive oil

Do you have dry hair or scalp?

I was noticing that mine was getting dry so I decided that I wanted one of those fancy hair treatments.

I didn't have the time or money to get one so I made my own and it turned out amazingly!!!

I heard of olive oil and coconut oil working like magic so I thought I would try it out.

I just grabbed some olive oil that I already had and pour some into my hand and started applying it all over my hair.

I started with the ends and worked my way up into my scalp.

I massaged it in!

Then, I let it sit for about 15-30 minutes.

I can't remember how long it was because I threw it into a ponytail and did a few things around the house.

After that, I took a shower and washed and conditioned it twice!

I also brought my big comb in the shower and combed through my hair.

I could tell instantly that my hair was smoother.

I was going to blow dry it but Andrew started fussing so I never got around to it.  I just comber through my hair and let it air dry.

A few hours later, when my hair dried, I looked into the mirror and was really impressed!

My hair was extremely soft, my scalp was not dry, and my hair was shiny.

I was so happy!!

I will probably do this every couple of weeks during the winter because my hair feels amazing!

Have you ever tried something like this?

How did you like it?

All Saint's Day!

Happy All Saint's Day!

Since our kids go to Catholic school, they get to dress up as a saint and they do a big Saint parade in front of all the parents and then they share the name of their saint into the microphone.

It is a pretty big deal here!!

They will have a party too which the kids are excited about!

Do you celebrate today?

FAUX FUR FOR THE ROOMS / MŰSZŐRMÉT A SZOBÁKBA

Most, hogy jönnek a hidegek egyre többször tör rám, hogy be kéne szerezni néhány szőrme párnát meg takarót a nappaliba meg a hálóba. Kizárólag a mesterséges fajtából. Ne öljön senki állatokat a bundájukért és ne is vásároljatok ilyet!

These cold days made me think of buying some faux fur for our living room and bedroom. Only artificial ones. Please do not kill anything for its fur and do not buy it!

Neutral & Simple Guest Room

Welcome to another home tour post!

Today is my guest room!

Join me on facebook now!

I re-did this room several times now but I am really liking this way the best!

This room is extremely neutral  & simple!

The whole room is clutter free with only a few decorations.  We have a mirror, a photo, and a plant on a "fireplace mantel" shelf.

We have brown, room darkening curtains, and drum shade lamps.

I forgot to take a picture of the wall across from the bed but there is a black dresser with a plant on it and a mirror.

This room is really clean and clutter-free!

Do you have a guest room?

How did you decorate it?

Bonnie :)
